Type in Google “Successful people” and you will see “wake up early” as an option for auto-populate.
This is true! The key to starting a productive day is to rise early. Since I have been working from home I have kept my alarm clock set to the same time as when I went to an office on a daily basis. Once I overcame the protests in my head, I have seen an increase in productivity during my day.
There are a few reasons for this. Those early morning moments offer uninterrupted time to plan your day, focus on dreaded tasks that we tend to procrastinate on, and it is true once your mind clears the cobwebs of a night’s rest, your mind has a sense of clarity that isn’t always there later in the day.
Add an exercise routine and a healthy breakfast and you are set for success! You will be amazed how good you feel by 9 a.m.!
Still not convinced? Don’t take my word for it. Check out what English Poet William Blake and the great American Statesman and Entrepreneur Benjamin Franklin have to say.
Think in the morning. Act in the noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the night.
Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.
If you get nothing else from it at least you can at least catch a glimpse of an awesome sunrise!
